Thank you for sending snacks, but Shanny said I can’t take any breaks until all her goodies are ready for tomorrow. But if I’m a good girl and work real hard, I’ll be allowed to have dinner later 😉

J/K! We love to collab with our boutique besties. And you all know Shannon offers to bring me food & alcohol on the regular! She even offers to come “help”. So you’ve all met—or at least seen—my hubby and bo

So you’ve all met—or at least seen—my hubby and boys, but today I’d like you to meet Sam. 🐾

I wear a lot of hats every day, and apparently this morning’s hat was senior-dog rescue specialist after Sam made yet another questionable life choice.

Sam is 14 years old, cute as can be, and missing just a few marbles. After years of acting like he didn’t even know my garden existed, he suddenly decided today was the perfect day to go grocery shopping in Mom’s raised garden bed.

Mind you, these beds are about four feet high.

He had absolutely no problem letting the rabbits take the blame for the missing broccoli, but today he used my herb garden as a step stool, hauled his roly-poly little body all the way inside…and then realized:
“Well, this was a terrible idea. I’m stuck.”

Of course, when I heard his cries of distress, I rushed outside like any good dog mom would—only to find him sitting there like a deer in headlights, surrounded by tomatoes, flowers and the evidence of his crimes.

This is the same dog who refuses to climb the perfectly normal stairs on our deck because they’re “too scary,” but apparently turns into a professional mountain climber when healthy snacks are involved. 😂

And speaking of snacks, our dog treats are restocked at the shop! Perfect for your sweet, smart pup—or your adorable little garden burglar who may be operating with only half a bag of marbles. 🐶🥦🌿
